Refined for Purpose: Trusting God in the Difficult Seasons
We have welcome to the new year, all the decorations are put away, the celebrations have quieted. Many people make new year goals with an expectation that it promises and year that is full of amazing memories, promotion, and expectation of all good things. How easy is it to lose sight of what God is doing when it’s not going according to the plan that we have outlined. And how much do we limit what God can do when we are only fixated on our equivalent of what “good “means? What if an effort to grow closer in His character we need to simply learn to identify and discriminate between His voice and the enemy’s. In doing so, by learning to discriminate the enemies voice, we can learn to take steps to ignore his voice & proactively call out the enemies lies. What if this year instead of mastering and accomplishing everything on your goal list, you learn to discriminate between the Lord‘s voice and the enemies, and you act on them as a warrior? You no longer listen to what the enemy says for you and your family, and instead, you pray into them With a fierceness that God intended? In this podcast, I share with transparency, my own journey, along with strategies and prayer to equip you for this coming year. The following verses will serve as a place for encouragement and promise: Exodus 14:14: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Romans 8:28 (NIV): “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” 1 Peter 1:6-7 (NIV): “In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold—may result in praise when Jesus Christ is revealed.” Isaiah 43:2 (NIV): “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”
